Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

This department turns out engineers well versed in problem-solving who have studied both the theory and practice of electrical and electronic engineering and can contribute to the advancement of humankind and welfare systems while building a society in harmony with the natural world.
There are two courses of study: the electrical engineering course and the electronic systems course. Students learn a wide range of basic knowledge in the increasingly globalizing field of electrical and electronic engineering as they acquire the theoretical and thinking skills, along with specialized skills, that will allow them to take an active role in state-of-the-art scientific technology fields.

  • Besides the basics in areas such as math, physics, science, and language, the emphasis is on introductory specialized subjects like electromagnetics, electrical circuits, and electronic engineering.
  • Students brush up their specialized applied skills in a wide range of fields through hands-on education covering areas such as energy, robotics, nanotechnology, and IT.
  • This department helps students acquire qualifications in electrical fields and gives them the chance to conduct state-of-the-art research so that they can graduate with a thorough knowledge of both the hardware and software sides of electrical and electronic equipment.
