平成30年度対日理解促進交流プログラム「カケハシ・プロジェクト」～４日目～

本日は、ソノマ州立大学にてプレゼンテーションを行いました。名城大学生は4つの班に分かれ、それぞれのテーマで日本の紹介を行いました。１班は、"Unique Japanese Products（UJPs）"をテーマに、日本の「ランドセル」、「お弁当」、「ウォシュレット・トイレ」について文化背景をあわせて発表しました。２班は「能」、「狂言」、「歌舞伎」、「文楽」の4つの芸道について紹介しました。３班は、書道の実演を、４班はオタ芸について発表しました。

どの班も１か月間準備と練習を重ねた成果を発揮することができました。また、Sonoma State University（SSU）の学生やスタッフとも交流を深めることができ、とても充実した1日でした。これから、２日後の報告会に向けての準備が始まります。プロジェクト全体を通して学んだことや、気づいたことを形にできるよう頑張りたいです。

Today, we made our presentations at Sonoma State University. The first group introduced unique Japanese products such as the Randosel, the Bento, and the Washlet Toilet with all of the necessary Japanese cultural background. The next group presented Japanese traditional arts which included Noh, Kyogen, Kabuki, and Bunraku. The third group performed Japanese calligraphy with SSU students. The last group danced Otagei and explained about Otaku-culture. I think we did really well and that all of our practice really payed off. Also, we deepened our exchange with the SSU students and staff, and had a very full and fun day.

From now, we will start to prepare for our debriefing meeting on Friday as the culmination of Kakehashi project. So, we’ll keep working hard until the end in order to have a successful project.（外国語学部 M.M., M.T., & Y.N.）
