レスブリッジ・カナダ研修 (1)_始まりの日

始まりの日

　日本からレスブリッジまで飛行機、バスを乗り継いで移動したが、半日以上時差があるカナダの時間に慣れるにはしっかり睡眠をとる必要があると感じた。始めてホストファミリーに会った際は緊張から積極的に話しかけることができないでいたが、大学から車で移動する間に簡単な質問から少しずつ話しかけたことで緊張が和らぎ、自然と会話ができるようになった。一日目の学校は先生や大学内の紹介から始まったが、すれ違う人のほとんどが気さくに挨拶を交わしている姿を見て、とてもフレンドリーで良い雰囲気の校内だと感じた。ブックストアで出会った薬学を学んでいる学生が、お土産を眺めているときアドバイスをくれ、その親切な姿勢に感動した。（３年生・Ｍさん）

　We took the airplane three times and a bus from Japan to Lethbridge. It was a long journey; there was a time difference of nearly half a day between Japan and Canada, so I needed time to get used to that. At the beginning to meet my host family, I was pretty nervous to talk to them, but I gradually could speak to them naturally because I started talking about an easy topic. My first school day began with introducing our teachers and school facilities. While doing that, I saw the students greeting each other, which makes a good atmosphere. When I observed a souvenir in the bookstore, a student who had learned medicine gave me advice on that. I was happy to see her gentleness.
